The Dickens Inn is a historic and characterful events venue situated within St Katharine Docks, close to Tower Bridge and the River Thames. Originally a warehouse building, the reconstructed and restyled 18th-century inn combines exposed wooden beams and traditional features with impressive views across the docks.
Spread across three distinctive floors, the venue offers a choice of versatile event spaces suitable for gatherings of different sizes. From intimate private dining and business presentations to drinks receptions, seated meals, weddings and large celebrations, each space can be arranged to suit the individual requirements of your occasion.
The Dickens Suite is the venue’s largest private function room, accommodating up to 175 guests standing or 150 guests for a seated event. With high ceilings, exposed wooden beams and large picture windows overlooking St Katharine Docks and Tower Bridge, it provides an impressive setting for Wedding Receptions, Corporate Events, presentations, team days and private celebrations.
The Pickwick Room can accommodate up to 125 guests standing or 90 guests seated. This spacious and characterful private room also benefits from its own balcony, providing guests with fantastic views across St Katharine Docks and towards Tower Bridge. It is suitable for everything from seated dining and private parties to lively drinks receptions.
Located on the ground floor, The Copperfield Bar can host up to 80 standing guests. The space features its own private bar, comfortable seating, screens and a private entrance leading onto the patio area, making it a great option for informal celebrations, team gatherings and relaxed social events.
The Dickens Inn’s experienced events team can assist with planning your occasion, including room layouts and bespoke food and drink packages. The venue can accommodate sit-down meals, buffets, canapés and drinks receptions, allowing each event to be tailored to suit the occasion.
