Ognisko is a restaurant, bar and events venue housed within an impressive 19th century townhouse on Exhibition Road in South Kensington. The restaurant forms part of the historic Ognisko Polskie, also known as the Polish Hearth Club, which was founded in 1940 and has been at the heart of Polish and West London life for more than 80 years.
The venue offers a variety of flexible event spaces spread across three floors, making it suitable for everything from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. Its elegant interiors feature high ceilings, impressive period details and plenty of natural light, providing a great backdrop that can be styled to suit a wide range of events.
The Ballroom is the venue's largest event space and features a grand staircase, hardwood floors, high ceilings and crystal chandeliers. For smaller occasions, the Salonik Room provides a more intimate setting, while the ground floor Restaurant and covered, heated outdoor terrace overlook Prince's Gardens and can also be privately hired.
Ognisko is particularly well suited to Weddings, with its impressive entrance, grand staircase and elegant event spaces. The venue also offers highly regarded in-house catering, with menus that can be adapted to suit individual requirements, from formal three course dining to more relaxed buffets and sharing menus.
A dedicated events organiser can assist with the planning of your occasion, including decorations, entertainment, floral arrangements and other elements required to bring your event together.
